Value of hard work

One of the greatest gifts my parents gave me was the value and appreciation of working hard. I managed to find someone that shares that belief as well, and it doesn't hurt that he's a looker as well ;).
As pictured above, our yard needed a lot of work. One of the project was laying pavers around the perimeter of the home. Jesse worked long (and HOT) hours on this project. It took almost every weekend for several months to complete. Here's a few pics of the kids helping dad lay the last of the pavers.

The stone wrapped from the front driveway (see background in above picture) all the way around the house to the front on the opposite side. I'm so glad THAT project is DONE!

First Day of School!

School starts early in Arizona! On Aug. 8th the kids started school, Keltsy being a new Kindergartener and Isaac starting 2nd grade!
Ha, ha - I don't know why, but she ended up making funny faces for her pictures at the bus stop!
Here's both the kiddos, ready and waiting for the bus!

A Day in Utah!

On our way home from the family reunion, we stopped and spent the day in Utah. It was fun to visit with the family again and look forward to when we can do it again!

Boating!

The family spent a day at the river, did a little boating and got caught up on some relaxation. It was really a lot of fun!

Family Pictures

You can't have a reunion without taking pictures.
Here's mom and dad, I love their matchy-matchy outfits.
Karen's Family
My nephew Matthew and his wife Elise
Mark's Family
David's Family
Kathy's Family
Me and Mine!
We also did another day of pictures, but they aren't uploading for some reason. I'll fiddle around and see if I can get them to work.
